A New Generation of
American Watchmakers
At 1776 Atelier, we are part of a new generation of American watchmakers — dedicated to the pursuit of true high horology and the creation of mechanical art at the highest level.
Built Upon Tradition
Our watches showcase traditional finishing techniques executed entirely by hand: anglage, perlage, black polishing, hand-engraved complex designs, circular satin finishing, solarization grinding, and a variety of meticulously applied surface textures.
Rather than imitate tradition, we build upon it — offering collectors timepieces defined not by slogans or geography, but by the unmistakable hallmarks of fine mechanical artistry.
Beyond in-house design and assembly, we are proud to be one of the few American watchmakers offering our own manufacture movements. Our Caliber 621.1788 and Caliber 430.1803 use over 70% American-made parts with our own proprietary bridges and plates. No off-the-shelf parts are leveraged. The entire movement is finished and regulated right here in Texas.
Exceptional finishing should not be inaccessible. We are proving that horological brilliance can flourish anywhere talent and passion unite.
A mechanical engineer turned senior technology executive, Jason's path to watchmaking began as a collector drawn to the artistry of horology. His journey led him to Glashütte, Germany, where he trained alongside master artisans — friendships that continue to shape 1776 Atelier's approach to fine finishing and design.
With proprietary manufacture movements featuring over 70% American-made parts, Jason has built something rare: genuinely hand-finished haute horology at an accessible price, rooted entirely in American soil. His mission: democratizing high horology while ensuring that it remains distinctly American in origin.
A Deeply Personal Journey
At 1776 Atelier, we understand that purchasing a watch is not just a transaction but a deeply personal journey. Each timepiece is crafted with the same care and attention we would give if it were for ourselves or someone we love.
We are committed to building tomorrow's heirlooms today — timepieces that will be cherished for generations, each one a testament to the enduring spirit of American craftsmanship.
